Brief Description of Patent: All type writers known up to know have been constructed on the principle that the operator must give the force required for operating the machine by pressing down the keys with his fingers. According to this invention the keys are not pressed down but are quite immovable, so that the operator has only to plce his finger upon their surfces, no force or heavy blow being required to work them; and the printing of several letters may be brought about by a single operation.
Condition: Slight crinkling.Wear to left hand edge where patent has been removed from the volume. This was sold by Manchester Library and has their stamp impression on some of the pages/drawings.
Multiple Item Postage: Patents can be combined for postage costs, the cost is the same whether you purchase one or several, so check out our Ebay Shop patent listings as well.
This patent specification has been disbound from a volume of 100 different patents. This is an original HMSO published item at the time, not a modern copy as are being sold elsewhere. The drawings are often ideal for framing. It is part of a collection of several volumes from the 1893-1900,1907 & 1920/50's that I have from which individual patents will be sold over the next few years.
